Hypnobirthing is suitable for anyone expecting a baby who is looking for a calm, confident and positive experience. It doesn’t matter what type of birth you are working towards, hypnobirthing techniques can be used for all births, even if you are high risk.
This may be your first, second, or fifth pregnancy, anyone is welcome to join the hypnobirthing course. If you have already completed a hypnobirthing course in a previous pregnancy, get in touch to find out more about my refresher course.
This is different for everyone but most people wish to start somewhere between 20 and 30 weeks. The more you put into the course and the more time you spend practicing the tools and techniques, the more you will get out of it. It’s never too late to start the course though, so please get in touch regardless of your gestation.
I encourage birth partners to attend the course, this way you can really work together to prepare for birth and get to know the things that help you to relax. It’s really good to be able to practice the techniques at home together, so that on the day your birth partner is able to support you confidently. It is also a really lovely way of you both bonding with your baby.
If your birth partner is unable to attend, never fear, I will adapt the course to meet your needs.
